Coming to São Paulo for the pride? We have you covered!

The biggest LGBTQIAP+ pride in the world is in São Paulo – Yes, it’s in Brazil, baby! And people from all over the world are coming to celebrate it. So, of course, we have prepared some useful tips for you and a calendar full of fun stuff to do the city. Choose from three parties on four different days!

Friday – 9th June
If you’re coming to São Paulo for the entire Pride weekend you’ll be happy to learn that there are already plenty of celebrations on Friday. If you prefer the hustle and bustle, if you are staying close to the centre-south region of the city, neighborhoods such as Consolação, Bela Vista, Jardins and the Centre are great options to explore. Take some time to walk along Augusta Street. Starting at the intersection with Paulista Avenue and going down the road (not going down on someone… but we won’t stop you) is a good idea. It’s simply gostoso. 🏳️‍🌈💖

Also on Friday we will have Festa Pink – a pop and sex party 😏, exclusively for men. Expect the best chart bangers from international and Brazilian artists. With open bar in an incredible space (which includes a dark room) in Moema (close to Eucaliptos station, Lilac subway line) it will be a night to remember! From 23h00 to 06h00am. 😈 Tickets available now.

Saturday – 10th June

It gets even more colorful and fun that day! 🌈 Grab breakfast at a traditional Brazilian bakery and if the day is sunny, take a nice relaxing walk around the city. Our suggestions:
– Augusta Park (when the sun is out you may me fooled into thinking you’re at a beach, with all the queer bodies on display!),
– Beco do Batman (to see some amazing mural art),
– MASP (for some more traditional art),
– Sesc Paulista (for culture and city views),
– Ibirapuera Park (to get involved in sports, learn about Afro-Brazilian history or cycle leisurely).

Maybe you already know, but it’s worth remembering that the underground/ subway/ metro system offers the best cost-benefit solution for getting around. A single (one way) ticket is just R$4.40 (less than 1USD). However, they don’t make it easy for foreigners to use it (you can’t use foreign credit/ debit cards) so bring some cash with you to buy tickets at the counter.

The highlight of Saturday will be Valy 🌈 – the official party of our community in the city! Mechanical bull, food park, dark room, pop and Brazilian funk hits, shows, acts and of course open bar! The party will take place at Club A, which is in Moema (close to the Eucaliptos station, on the Lilac subway line). From 22h00 to 06h00am. Tickets available now.

Sunday – 11th June

The big day! The 27th LGBTQIAP+ Pride Parade will take place on Paulista Avenue (Avenida Paulista), starting at 10am. This year’s theme is: Social Policies for LGBT+. The celebration is full of symbolism, it is crowded (we think that’s a good thing 🤩) and full of shows of various artists from our LGBTQIAP+ community. As of the date of this post, the complete schedule has not yet been released, but keep an eye on the official Parade website. Don’t forget to stay safe! The parade is notorious for pickpockets. But if you keep your phone and other belongings close (bumbag/fannypack tucked into your trousers is a good idea) and stay with your friends you shouldn’t have any issues.

Also on Sunday, we will have another edition of Pink❤️‍🔥 but this time from 4 pm to 11 pm (16h-23h). Tickets available now. Remember: Pink is a s3x party, exclusively for men, with pop hits and open bar.

Friday – 16th June
This tip is especially for the ladies. For those of you who choose to extend your stay or come to SP the following weekend, we will have the third edition of Donna👠: a sensual party, exclusively for women. The Brazilian and international pop and funk party will take place in Moema (close to the Eucaliptos station, Lilac line from the subway). Girls, ladies, sisters, this is a party for you to be free!👩‍❤️‍👩 Tickets available now.

Finally, let’s celebrate! We hope that you enjoy the city, the pride and our parties, which we organised with a lot of love and care. See you in June.🏳️‍🌈🥰
